St. Peter the Apostle Soup Kitchen Ministry
St. Peter the Apostle Soup Kitchen Ministry provides healthy breakfast six mornings a week to the men in our community seeking work.
Each volunteer drops off their breakfast donation on their assigned day, one time per month. Foods may include casseroles, burritos, soups, bagels, or items to be made into scrambled eggs or sandwiches. The ministry also provides coffee and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches serving over 300 meals each month.
The Soup Kitchen is located at the Parish Office. If you love to share your cooking, inspired by helping others or are seeking a way to follow Jesus’ teaching of meeting people where they are and treating them as Jesus Christ himself would, this ministry is for your!
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink … Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."
