The Theology of the Body (TOB) provides great intellectual treasures that theologians will be studying for centuries.

Blessed Pope John Paul II's TOB is based on a collection of 129 short talks given in his Wednesday audiences at the Vatican.  Theology of the Body brings a beautiful vision of the human body, marital love, and sexual union. The concept that the human body is the expression of the human person is one of the guiding principles of the entire Theology of the Body program.

Christopher West, renowned educator and author, specializes in making the scholarship of TOB accessible to a wide audience. West has several books and DVD series for individuals and groups.  He has created two distinct DVD studies of Theology of the Body.  The first is "Introduction to Theology of the Body" and the second is "Into the Heart - A journey through Theology of the Body".  There are workbooks that accompany the DVD series.  The Intro series is divided into 8 Chapters and the Into the Heart series is comprised of 16 chapters.  Each episode is approximately 1 hour long.  There are workbooks which provide a synopsis of the material and questions for discussions.  These are excellent resources for small group study.
