†  The Sacrament of Confirmation     (Adult)

What is Confirmation?

Baptism, the Eucharist and the sacrament of Confirmation together make up the “Sacraments of Christian Initiation”.  The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is important for the completion of baptismal grace in our lives.  By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to Christ and the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.  They become true witnesses of Christ, more fully prepared to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.

Adult Confirmation?

Every baptized person not yet confirmed can and should be confirmed. St. Peter the Apostle has a process uniquely designed for the Catholic adult, age 18 or older, who has received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, but has never been confirmed.

If you are one of these adults we welcome you. We look forward to working with you to complete your Christian Initiation. Classes begin in January of each year. Confirmation Mass is held in the Easter Season of each year.
