† Bereavement Ministry
The mission of the Bereavement Ministry is to provide support through faith at a time of personal loss. The hand of our loving God is extended to the grieving through this ministry.
We offer the family and friends who are experiencing bereavement and loss, support and guidance during a stressful and difficult time. We want to assure you that you are not alone. We are with you in person and prayer and extend to you our hearts and hands in companionship and service as you so desire.
The Bereavement Ministry includes:
- Meeting with the family to choose the readings and hymns for the funeral liturgy
- Presence and support during the funeral liturgy
- Follow-up with the family after the day of the funeral
- Grief sharing support group as needed
