Eucharistic Adoration is the public worship of the Eucharist outside of Mass. Prayer before the Lord extends the union with Christ which the faithful have received in Communion.
"Could you not watch one hour with Me? Watch and pray...". As Jesus spoke to His apostles, so He pleads with us to stay and watch and pray with Him.
The gifts demonstrated by those who participate in this Ministry are a sincere desire to spend time in prayer and in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Those who participate in this ministry normally commit to one hour of prayer and adoration time each Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. or between 5:00 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. With our new church layout, which includes a Reservation Chapel, we are able to continue these hours of adoration during other church activities.
